WHAT IS CHILD DEDICATION?
Child dedication is the act of giving back to God the gift he has given to you as parents. It is an act of worship, thanksgiving, dependence, trust, and commitment. We recognize that salvation only comes to a child through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. It is not passed on to a child through dedication. Parents must promise to raise their children by modeling Godly principles with the desire that one day, their children will receive Jesus Christ as their personal Savior.
HOW OLD DOES MY CHILD HAVE TO BE?
There is no specific age. Children may be a few days/weeks old or several years old.
WHEN SHOULD MY FAMILY ARRIVE FOR THE DEDICATION?
Please arrive by the beginning of the service that you have registered for. The dedication will take place right after the worship service.
WILL OTHER CHILDREN BE DEDICATED ALONG WITH MY CHILD?
Yes. House of Bread Church holds dedication services only twice a year. Therefore there will be other children who are being dedicated on this day. Although there will be other dedications, each child is dedicated individually.
